Under the Economic Diplomacy Programme of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sri Lanka, an outward trade delegation was organized by the Sri Lankan Embassy in Brazil with collaboration of the Export Development board (EDB) and the Department of Commerce (DOC).
With the main objective of promoting Sri Lankan products in Brazilian market this trade delegation visited Sao Paulo, Brazil from 20th to 22nd February 2019. Mr. Thushan Jayasundara, WMC’s Chairman / Managing Director and his team of delegates represented the country. Well-coordinated and organized trade delegation was given the opportunity to visit and take part in Mini Exhibitions, B2B meetings, Industry visits and sector specified meetings. This was a very successful and good business initiatives for future business expansion strategies and a noteworthy opportunity.
